Dirty Harry


It's time for us to finally talk about the best cop to ever clean up the streets on film: Dirty Harry. We talk about the original, and touch on the sequels, movies it's inspired, and the battle between Harry and Scorpio versus heroes and villains in movies today. John and Hunter delve into the documentary Milius, a film about the life and career of John Milius, which makes a good excuse to talk about the films Milius wrote and directed as well. Stuart is still on tour with the Thunder from Down Under, and will return in mid-June.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown


John and Hunter venture into the outskirts of Texarkana in search of the elusive Phantom Killer, a man who stalked unsuspecting couples on the secluded lovers' lanes outside of town. The film in question is The Town That Dreaded Sundown, a 1976 cult classic directed by Charles B. Pierce that explores this unsolved mystery in a manner that was far ahead of its time.
